Google search supports microformats.

over 2 years ago by danboy

Google has announced support for "rich snippets", basically they've added microformat support to seaarch results allowing users at a glance views of hReviews, hCards, and more.

This is a great step toward the open web, yelp is already using hReview, and yahoo has supported microformats for a while now.

It's experimental, so you need to get google to add your site - but i can see this snowballing in a positive direction.
